bTECHNOLOGY locks and app - Terms of Service

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms of Service”) apply to the digital services used to manage Mottura products in the bTECHNOLOGY range (the “Products”) through the bMOTTURA app (the “App”) and the Mottura Cloud portal.

Mottura bTECHNOLOGY is an electromechanical ecosystem for smart access management, intended for private domestic use and consisting of compatible locks, actuators, accessories and identification devices that can be managed through the bMOTTURA App and the Mottura Cloud portal. The devices can operate locally via Bluetooth Low Energy and, where supported through the bBRIDGE gateway, remotely through cloud services. The ecosystem allows authorised users to configure, use and monitor compatible devices, share access credentials and view information concerning device status and use.

The bTECHNOLOGY range includes, among other products, smart locks for security doors, such as bNOVA and bBLOCK; the bMOTO motorised knob; the bOPEN smart relay; the bBRIDGE gateway for remote connectivity; and identification and control accessories such as the bDIGIT keypad, bTRACK fingerprint reader, bTAG transponder reader and bKEY Bluetooth remote control.

To download the App and accept these Terms of Service, the user must be of legal age under the laws of the country in which the user resides. If the user is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must give the user permission to use the App and accept these Terms of Service.

WHEN DOWNLOADING THE APP FOR THE FIRST TIME, BY CLICKING “I ACCEPT”, THE USER CONFIRMS THAT THEY HAVE READ AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE. OTHERWISE, THE USER MUST NOT CLICK “I ACCEPT” (OR AN EQUIVALENT MESSAGE) AND MUST NOT USE THE APP.

If the user does not accept these Terms of Service, the user may return the Products intended for use with the App (in their original, unused condition) within the return period offered by the retailer from whom they were purchased and request a refund.
