Mechanical Defenders®

Mechanical Defenders® are the most popular type of armoured door protection. With steel spheres inserted at various points in the Defender's body, a protective manganese plate and other security mechanisms that vary for each model, they effectively protect the cylinder against break-in attempts using methods such as drill, pick and percussion blows. The use of the key is permitted through a small shaped hole.
